Boomtown only used their startup chips, which are the generic "Las Vegas" CIC chips. Very heavy...i think 14 gms. Everybody hates them. Theytold me they are going to order new chips once the room is up and going. The problem is....they know they probably won't make it. The players still just go to Dollar-King card room, which is only 1/2 mile away. I am on the text message list for when they are open and have a game. I've gone in 3 times after getting a "We're Open...Game On" text over the past two months....each time only to see they don't have enough players for a game. I won't play with 4 players! Last time I was told, "We had a game last night..." asked what time...." started about 11pm" They close at 2.

The other problem is that the Hollywood Casino is due to open the end of March...will cut in to business for Dollar-King as well. I think Dollar King will stay open simply because they run a daily tournament with a 20.00 buy in. Usually 60-70 players every day. T
