At the local casino here (Prairie Meadows), there are between 25 and 30 Blackjack tables. Four of them are $5 tables. Probably another four at $10 and the rest are $25. Of the $25 tables maybe 2 get play in the 3 or 4 hours I am there and then it is maybe 2 people at each. So basically you have between 15 and 20 tables empty while you have lines behind the four $5 tables. I have never been able to get anyone to explain it to me (and I have asked many a pit boss). It actually has caused me to go to other casinos (I drive 45 minutes to Lakeside or 75 minutes to Mesquaki instead of 15 minutes) where they have more lower limit tables.
