I came up with this idea on the way home and when I got home I posted it and of course thought of a few things after I posted the original one. I am posting a new auction.
I have $25 cash that I need to blow on some chips so I am going to try an auction style and see if I get any takers.
I am looking to buy as many $1 chips as I can. The purpose of this auction is for me to add some chips that I do not have to my collection. I only have approx 400 chips and most of them are from Nevada. This is a great opportunity for you to get rid of any unwanted chips or ones that you have a hard time selling and for me to add to my growing collection. You do not have to post on your bid what you are sending or supply any pictures. Your bid just needs to state how many you are willing to send.
AUCTION START TIME: NOW
AUCTION END TIME: TUESDAY FEB 14TH, 2012, 9PM EASTERN TIME
RULES:
1. The winner of this auction will receive $25 cash in return for the stated number of $1 casino chips that they have placed as a bid. The $25 will cover the cost of shipping the chips to me in PA (15209) and also the chips.
2. This is only open to current members
3. You can only send $1 chips from either a current or closed casino/card room.
4. There are to be no personal, fake chips, prop chips, or advertising chips. If I forgot to mention any others then they are included as well. The only chips that qualify are actual casino/card room chips that had an ACV of $1 at time of issue.
5. Chips can be from anywhere as long as they are a $1 chip. In my previous post I was limiting the number of Nevada chips but in this one you can send all Nevada chips if you would like.
6. You can send up to 1 duplicate of each chip EXCEPT for Nevada chips. There is a good chance that any Nevada chip that you send will already be a duplicate so anything that you send from Nevada must be a single chip.
7. All bids must be placed on the chip board as a reply to this message. I will not accept any bids via email or any other method of communication.
8. All bids must be placed in the subject line and not in the body of the message. You can post it in both places if you would like but the official bid will be in the subject line.
9. If there is a duplicate bid the person who posted it first will be considered the high bidder. This will be determined by the time stamp on the message.
10. The condition of the chips should be SU or better. The chips can be either cleaned or non cleaned. if you are sending a chip that has not been cleaned please make sure that it will be in a good condition once cleaned.
11. I will mail $25 cash. I will be sending the money priority mail with delivery confirmation to the winner as soon as you send me your address. I am requesting that the chips are sent ASAP as well. However if you want to wait for the money to arrive that is fine as well.
12. Bidding will start at 8 chips.
13. I have the right to make any modification or cancel this auction at any time. However I will not cancel the auction jut because I do not like the number of chips that have been offered. If you have any questions please ask here or send me an email.
Thank you for looking,
Jason
