OK, I have around 10 - 15 of this chip and I kept looking at these chips to see if there is a true variant with them. All together I found 3 variants with the Frontier chips. For this example you can see the color variant and if you look at the "F" logo on the rim (mold) you can tell that the oval around them is different (one be rounder than the other). And while looking the UV marking I noticed that on one it UV makring is turned 90 degrees compared to the other one.
The other variant I found was on another chip, the UV markings were in quite different On most of the chips, the H&C UV making was Large and in the center of the chip, while 3 other chips has a much smaller UV marking at it just above the $1 sign.
Is it a true variant that should be in TCR, I don't know there too many splitting hairs on what exactly a variant in TCR should be.
Jim Batten (one of the pioneers of UV marking detection) pointed out to me years ago....the Sam Remo had the same $1.00 chip for it's entire opening/closing.....do you think they ever reorder the chip over those years? I think he had 7 or 8 UV variants for that chip.
