Rentals fluctuate constantly. Try a few times a week. If you belong to Costco use their codes for Alamo which I just did for a weekly rental for the Super Bowl. I have rented from Dollar many times and they were priced fairly low, but checking early and often is the key. Once you have the reservations keep checking a couple times a week for a further price drop.
