I just got as set of these Key West chips and already had the $5 chip from long ago. The one I just received looks really bad by comparison. Even the inserts look like a different color. Is this a result of bad resin (like in the early 1990's) or just wear on the chips? I have seen Chipcos wear before but never bleed like this. The boat started in 1998, well after the main bad resin problem but then there have been other bad resin problem that I know of, mainly Horseshoe in S. Indiana a few years ago. Under UV light the chips appear to be the same.

So what do the experts say - bad resin or just wear?
