I have not seen a $6 chip, but on Carnival cruises the ship I was on (Pride) had raised the table minimum to $6 so I could see them making a $6 chip. You could reach the minimum by betting $5 on the hand and $1 on the side bet of the table or placing a $6 bet on the hand.
