Punto is the best way to get low value fractionals... especially if you visit the casino with a friend.

The game is 50/50 like betting on red or black on roulette.

There are 2 betting options PLAYER or BANKER

If you bet PLAYER and win you get even money

If you bet BANKER and win you get paid at odds of 19/20

So if you and a friend play with a common pool of funds you simply bet against each other until there is a BANKER win.

On a £5 minimum table a Banker win gives you £4.75 = 4 x singles plus 3 x 25p

On a £10 minimum table a Banker win gives you £9.50 = 4 x singles plus either 1 x 50p or 2 x 25p

On 90% of Punto tables they only use 25p's as fractionals to keep the game moving.

If you are going on your own, I normally wait for a run of 4 or 5 consecutive Player wins then start betting Banker.

As for getting 50p chips off a blackjack... here's my top tip... sit and play then grab a valet and order a tea. When they arrive with your drink ask the dealer for change of a pound for 2 x 50p's - and tip one to the the girl. Also when you win aa hand you can ask for 2 x 50p's and tip the dealer one. Both ways you get one to keep or for pure cheek, change your mind and tip the valet a single instead as 50p is too cheap and keep both chips
