Hi All,

Further to Jason's post last month, our local Genting in Southampton put it's new chip stock into play yesterday. Last time round they only had one casino in the city, so the chips had 'Stanley Southampton'. Since then the purchase of the private Harbour House Club, mean't we didn't know if both clubs would have the same location. Well as you can see by the scan they have used the street address for Mint and speaking to Rob at Maxims, their chips (released 4th March) have Harbour Quay on them.

A few things also to note... the 50p chips Jason got from Luton should have been pulled and replaced with the new fractionals (as shown in scan). The decal Genting 50p's were only released last October, so if they are retired they will be some of the most short lived UK chips in many years. Speaking to Bobby & Terry, all remaining Stanley Chips from the 1998 issue will be retired by May.

So come the spring I will be off on a 34 casino, 1606 mile trip to get a full set of the new singles... If anyone wants a set of roulettes, singles and/or 5UKPs please mail me?!?

Finally... how cute are the new 10UKP plaques! I can get a couple if anyone is interested (trade for UK chips or 15UKP / $25 each)

PS bumped into Marky Lee last week, so I should have some 1970's Portsmouth Playboy chips for sale soon (he has a 1UKP and 25UKP training chip + 1x 5p & 2 x 10p cash chips)... watch this space!
