ADT will come and install all the alarm equipment FREE (1st floor door & window sensors, motion detector, alarm panel), but you have to sign a multiple-year $30 per month service contract for their central office monitor service. At least that was the deal I signed up for a couple of years ago.

Some police departments will charge for false alarms if they are frequent.
