I don't think you can really know the value without actually selling it. Even the Showboat chip has an uncertain value. It was sold before the economic downturn and has been put up for sale since without selling. But, there are many factors to value. The Showboat had an inlay, not a hot stamp, and it was a great inlay at that. It was from Las Vegas, not Jean (close, but not Las Vegas). Age is also a factor. I have a chip I believe is unique, but I would be surprised if it was worth $200, let alone the 5 digit realm. That is a very nice chip and no doubt is worth much more than my chip, but I am just pointing out that many factors determine value. And, to make it even better, value can be constantly shifting.
