Re: The Club Royale went down afer 1-month of sail

69 trips = 300 chips or about 4.35 taken per cruise. I believe some of these chips may have been people who took them home with the idea of returning since it was a day cruise visited by locals. Even if I am not collecting chips from a casino, I know I have taken a few chips home with the idea of bringing them back the next time.

The Concordia sailed on 7 day cruises so that would amount to about 300 cruises total in its life. If the rate of chips leaving was the same as the Casino Royale, it would amount to about 1300 chips missing but I do not think there are that many out there. I hope you are right and there are more out there as I would like a 25 Euro chip.

I do not believe there are any regulations that would mandate the destruction of the chips but I do not believe Costa/Carnival Corp. would want them out there. I think anything with the Concordia name on it will be destroyed. A few thousand dollars in used chips sales will not put a dent in the 500 million for the lost ship. Also, how much of the rack is now water damaged as a number of chips would have been on the tables when the ship went down. The casino was on the right side of the ship that is now under water.
