Since the older ones have now been destroyed & not all that many of them got out I would say it is worth more. Keep in mind that the new $4 chip is still locked up in the poker room cage & could come back out at any time if they decide to up the maximum to $4 again.
If anyone does have one of the newer $4's to trade I have the older $4 in uncirculated condition to trade. I will even add more to that trade if someone sees something else they want on my Web site linked below. I just now decided I will not sell anymore of the older $4's I have, they will just be used for trading.
