Well folks, to myself anyway I think I found the absolute jackpot! I met an older gentleman who used to visit Las Vegas quite frequently many many years ago. He had a garage sale and had an ad in the paper saying there were old casino items from Vegas including chips. Well I decided to go take a look and low and behold when I saw what he had my jaw hit the floor. I could not believe what he had. I bought all of the chips he had and sat down and talked with him to hear his adventures he had in Vegas. He had no idea that the chips had any value and I made his day! He was so happy to be able to sell them and make a nice amount of money. I took pictures of the chips I bought from him with my iphone as my scanner is broken. I pasted them all onto a big file so the actual big picture of the chips may look a little funny because I had to copy and paste each individual chip. Even better is that these chips are in amazing condition! I still have some more chips I bought from him that I need to take some pictures of and do the same thing but I wanted to share with everyone my first "real" chip find. It was so amazing and the rush I had was something that I have never experienced before. I will be selling some of these chips so if you see anything you like please email me and make an offer. Any lowball offer will not even be replied to. One last thing I want to say is.. I LOVE THIS HOBBY! Not to mention the people who are also in this great hobby. Since learning about the chipboard I have talked to some of the nicest people in the world and I love every second of it.
