Reading this, I was upset. First, I'm of "hispanic" decent, second, I'm from Texas! The sad thing is this story is on target with the concerns my wife and I talk about. We have four kids and they come home and tell us about other students they know who have dropped out or gotten pregnant.

My wife decided to go back to.school and was dumbfounded at the education level of some of the other college students saying, quite literally, "they're just stupid!" It's just sad.
