retract a bid without reason. In fact, i am pretty sure you must choose a valid reason before retracting a bid on Ebay.

What I was trying to point out in my post was the Steve was aware that Ebay allows buyers to retract bids yet his frustration seems to lie with the person rather than the system.

Does he have a right to be upset?.... Sure he does.

Is he within his rights to block someone from bidding on any of his auctions because he doesnt like what they do? Absolutely.

Does he have the right to libel someone here on the board for doing something that Ebay LET him do?...... Thats a question for the attornys, but I dont believe he would win that battle.

His anger seems to be misplaced as its Ebay that should be the brunt of his displeasure as they are the ones that allowed this to happen.

Seems the reasonable thing.
