A while back I had bids outstanding on a few auctions, including a couple high-price items. When my house was damaged in a fire, I took immediate steps to cut needless spending. This meant my hobbies were put on hold. I retracted my bids to keep me from spending needlessly.

As a seller, when I hear that someone has retracted a bid, I keep my own experience in mind.
