anything. If you have a real problem with Steve, just discuss it with him by e-mail. I don't think escalation or retaliation is helpful here at all.
If you had read his first thread on this, before he mentioned Joe P, he had a legitimate concern. Someone bid on his auction and ran up the price and then ran his own shorter auction for the same chip. After his own auction was over, he then canceled his bid on Steve's chip, thus leaving him in the lurch. That is problematic and unethical. I can see why he was mad. He has never stated that bidder was Joe, however. All he stated was that Joe canceled his bid on an auction (presumably the same one, but never said). If it was Joe who ran the second auction, Steve should have said. If it was not, I think Steve overreacted, but I can understand why. If you don't want Steve to bid on your auctions because he got upset when he got burned, that's fine, but I hope you don't make it any bigger than it needs to be.
I hope we don't have any wars on the board. They drive away potential collectors and divide the group.
