While you are in the area- make sure you go up to the Springfield area and check out Fantastic Caverns. I have done that tour twice and would do it many more times. How many tours can most people take more than once and still enjoy it? Not many. What makes Fantastic Caverns so great is that you do not have to walk through the caves- you are driven through on a Jeep driven Tram.

Also in Springfield is Bass Pro Shops world headquarters, that place is so big it almost blows your mind.
