I was at El Cortez last week but didn't notice Strike Machines. Got my first strike at The Four Queens back in Nov. But it's not .999 so I wasn't so impressed. Kind of like old silver dollars, if they weren't silver who would want them? Other than token collectors, and I have enough of those, some are cool though.
Funny story a cage worker mentioned to me just a couple days ago, or casino employee?, she said that I probably wouldn't want to collect the chips from the cage due to the tracking devices in them! Lol.
