Ed was a true character and I always enjoyed chatting it up with him at our local chip meetings in Kansas City. When I talked to him about what was going on, I could tell he sincerely cared about what I was talking about. He will be missed by all of us in KC.

Hard to believe Dave Kolenda past away back in '97. Time sure does fly. I remember some tough poker battles with him in our weekly online poker tournaments.

Finally, I'd like to also mention Bernie Sloan. One year at the convention, I told Bernie that I was looking for the $100 Hooters chip and it was funny to watch him make it his mission to find me one that year. He did find that chip for me and it is shown below.
