Small is relative.

There are some but the lion's share of the manufacturer's have given them up --- it will add an inch or two of thickness just from being there. This was the same about 5-6 years ago when they gave up floppy drives. Now with such ubiquitous access to hi-speed a CD can be downloaded in minutes and there really is less of a need for a CD. In fact with a USB DVD drive that sits in the bag or at home there is no difference.
