First off don't feel like a fool, people that do this kind of criminal activity are professionals at this crime. Let's hope it's a technical glitch and all your records are safe.

1) Create a new e-mail address -
2) Go to all your websites that you do financial transactions on and change your passwords and personal information, such as your e-mail to the new address you just created.
3) Note any oddities on these websites, such as account balances, weird transactions - especially if they are a banking or financial website.
4) If their is peculiar transactions, personally contact your bank and change your account.
