Dana;
Welcome to TITO collecting; yes some of the TITO fronts fade, they are thermal printed and
they are effected by heat and light. I keep my collection, now 15 binders, stored upright and
with the TITOs on three high black paper/Mylar stamp collector pages by Hager or Scott. I keep
the binders closed except when I am working on the collection to keep light away from the TITOs.
I have some TITOs that now are ten years old that are still ok, others have faded badly it is a
toss up. In my TITO catalog I catalog TITOs by the back, non bar code side, because it is press
printed and will not fade with time. My catalog now lists over 2500 different TITO world wide and
more being added every day. I am also working on getting TITOs added to The Chip Guide and
so far over 600 have been posted. I am trying to get the current in casino issues posted so people
can get to the casinos to pick them up while they are still being issued. As to prior issues I have a
trade stock of over 1000 different available and we have a TITO collectors meeting each year at the'
convention to trade TITOs. I do not suggest doing anything to the TITO to preserve it just protect
it from light and heat if possible.
