Hi all- I have been lurking on this website for over a year now and I finally signed up for tonight. I have been collecting for about 11 years now but my collection is small. For the first 10 years I had a rule that I had to actually remove the chip from the casino for it to count. I actually at one point thought that I was the only person who was crazy enough to collect casino chips until I stumbled upon this website. As of approx 5 months ago I decided to split my collection into 2 parts. Ones that I have taken from a casino personally which are displayed with the players card of the casino and ones that I have bought/traded/gifted. I ONLY collect $1 chips and players cards with my name on it. I thought about collecting all denoms but I am trying to keep my collection a reasonable size. My current collection size is only 379 $1 chips. I have obtained 210 from the casino personally and the others are from trades or purchases.

I am hoping to get to vegas for the next show to meet people that share the same passion in chips as I do.
