I dip my finger in the bottle and rub the whole chip with a generous amount. Let it set for 4-8 hours or sometimes overnight. Wipe the excess off and let the chip dry for 12 plus hours, as long as another day. I have not done it with CASINO CHIPS. I don't think I have any before and after pictures but I will check.
