Great story.....around 1979 0r 1980 I did the same thing...Started at Circus Circus and walked south, then back up the other side of the strip, ending at Foxie's Firehouse.....both of my front pockets were full of chips....I was collecting a 25 cent, 50 cent, $1.00 chip and a $5.00 chip so once I got ahead, I quit and moved on.....I was ahead every place I went UNTIL I got to Foxie's where I discovered that they had two different $5.00 chips (and of course, I wanted both)....That last stop cost me most of what I was ahead for the day.....But it was a LONG fun day and the real start of my chip collecting......
