This is my 15 year old grandaughter Kaylee. She is a sophomore in high school. Very recently, 100 students were recommended by teachers from her school for a leadership development program this coming summer. Each student had to write a paragraph on why they felt that they would be best suited to go to this program.

You guessed it, she was selected over the other 99 students, and well be going this summer.

The other thing that's going on is this coming week she will be getting her scholastic letter, from her Freshman year 4.3 GPA. It's like jocks getting a letter for excelling in a sport, only this is for grades.
