Some of the earlier CHIPCO's (without the CHIPCO logo on the reverse side) that were notched ever so slightly on the edge ... that some of them were being cashed in at some casino cages.

I remember CHIPCO asked for the return of a large quantity of very lightly notched chips from the late Bob Mera in A.C. ... and in return he got back double the amount of notched cancelled chips in return ... all with huge gouge notched cancellations. Bob was pi$$ed!

Is it possible that some of the lightly cancelled chips were re-cancelled a second time around, only more severely so?
