1. Do the members think a Museum in a building owned, or rented by the club in Las Vegas will ever happen?

I personally believe it will. We have come very close several times and someday it will happen.

2. Do the members think the club could afford the expenses, and have enough vol. to staff 40 hrs a week?

Not without some substantial donations or grants. The costs of operating a real museum far outweigh what the club can provide, but with the guidance we have, this can easily become a reality with some help. This shouldnt discourage our members from supporting the effort as every ittle bit helps put us closer to our goal.

3. Do the members think in this bad economy and lack of chipping interest, we could make a adequate income on fees and sales?

Good question. Many museums have closed over the past several years due to lack of interest and funds. Hopefully things will start of pick up soon and that wont be an issue for us. Nothing in the business world is ever guaranteed, but with a good buisiness the chances of survival increse significantly.

4. I know groups of club members have been working hard to put this together. Many fund raisers, I have donated, many have donated a lot of time and effort and $ to make this happen. Previously the group was close to a deal on a LV property ect. What is the status today in this economy?

Status was posted online with the club committee reports last quarter and will once again be issued online in conjunction with the next magazine release shortly.

5. I want it to happen as most members do. Just asking questions, I, like most members do not have have a direct line to this program. Maybe I could get the answers on the other board? Out of habit 90% of the time I stay on this board.I assume that our elected board members have a "open door policy for the members to ask questions".? Maybe I should post on the other board, but I wanted to also, hear from other club members on this subject.

Yes, there is an open board policy an dany question can be asked and is actually encouraged. I woould however have liked questions on club related topics posted on the club board as that is the right place (In my opinion) to post such questions where your looking for a BOD response.
