what about the guy (McQueery) who ACTUALLY saw it happen? He didnt do anything at the time, but yet Joe hears about it second hand, goes to the admin, and yet he's the 1 getting the flak? The state atty general said Joe did what he was supposed to. As I've seen here, why didn't McQueery stop it and call the cops? How come the victim couldn't? Was Joe supposed to be the 1 to spread hearsay evidence? He wasn't there, and didnt hear of it until the next day. If anyone should be sorry it should be McQueery, as he didn't stop the abuse AS IT WAS HAPPENING. Yet, I dont hear 1 word about him.
I say let Joe have some dignity, and let him finish his career. Remember, he didn't do it...unlike some like Tressel who DID cover it up. The Penn State Admin covered it up, not him. An ESPN writer says fire him so Penn State can heal...Heal? firing him will heal them? This thing might go on for yrs, so there will be no 'Healing" until Sandusky is convicted, and Penn State apologizes. Joe has said his piece and heart felt sorrow, more than any others in the case ever did. His legacy shouldn't be tarnished, just because he trusted his admin, and they let him down. They talk of morals? College sports is all about M-O-N-E-Y, so they want to throw Joe under the bus and take cover, but he won't let them. He is the only 1 with any morals in my opinion. I support Joe 1,000% and if that makes me wrong, so be it.
