I lost my father today, he passed away at the age of 94 peacefully at home. I was by his side. My father lived a long good life and was a great man, a terrific father. He was married for 68 years to my mother who passed away over 3 years ago. My father had a great sense of humor and always liked to tell jokes and stories. It made him feel good to make others laugh. I don't think I would be in this hobby if it wasn't for my father's interest in casinos and gambling which obviously passed on to me. I have many memories of going to Atlantic City with my father. We would usually take the bus and spend a fun day together. In more recent years my wife and I took my father to Atlantic City several times and he loved to play craps and blackjack. He came along with us a few times when I was going to the ACCCC meeting and even came into the meeting once to see what it was like. When they opened the Sands casino near us here in PA he was very excited and we went many times together. I am going to miss him very much.
