is a lead weight added by the manufacturer to make the chip a bit heavier. It is normal! For the time being, I suggest just putting the weight back in, putting the inlay back on and using an air-tite to keep it all together.

If you look closely at the inlay and the chip, you should be able to see a cross-hatching pattern. Use that pattern to correctlt re-align the inlay before closing the air-tite.
