From a collecting standpoint, could someone tell me what happens to the value of a chip which is purchased from a casino ($25 or $100) and the casino closes? Is there any period of time that the chips can be redeemed for face value after closing? I guess what I'm trying to ask is, does a chip retain it's face value as it becomes obsolete or does the value of a 25 or 100 drop drastically when a casino closes? Your thoughts... ?
