Reply from the Museum

Hi Roger,

Thanks for the information. I have a pretty nice collection of gambling checks, chips, and tokens and I am always interested in collecting the rare and unusual. I especially want chips from Michigan that were used in the illegal roadhouse type casinos of the pre-1950's era. The museum is open all year, but between Labor Day and Memorial Day (early September to the end of May) I do show the museum by appointment. In fact, I have two appointments for next week, and have already had several visits by interested people since the article appeared in the paper. If you'd like to see the museum by appointment just give a call to 517-547-4952. Usually the best time to call is between Noon and 6:00 PM, and appointment time for showings between those hours between Monday through Friday works best for me. Or just email anytime. I do not charge admission but a donation to help keep the lights on is always appreciated. Thanks again for the info and I hope to see you in Battle Creek, or here in Somerset Center.
