I came to this board late which is a shame because I would have liked to play in this. My opinion is if you allow someone to register, then if they finish in the points they should be awarded points. Since this is a wager that lasts over a season it is ones prerogative to sign up and sit out if they elect to. What if the same person registered and sat out but was sitting and watching the action. Just because he had auto fold shouldn't disqualify said person from being awarded.

As mentioned before, one way to fix this problem is to open registration an hour before tournament instead of the week before.

I also do not think you should remove their points manually because just having them in the tournament effected the entire tournament.
