I would usually stop in at Barney's when making my South Tahoe chip rounds. Started at Harrah's, then into the Harrah's annex (later, Bill's Casino) with the banks of polished chrome mechanical slots making their ka-chunk sounds, then into Barney's, past their Big Bertha slot near the front door.
A minor point, but doesn't it seem that the order of 6th and 7th issue Barney's chips should be reversed in James' book? The middle chip, in your picture, seems that it should be the latest of the 3 issues. Also, its "South Shore" marking is the same as the 8th issue H&C mold $1 chip, which also has "South Shore" on it.
