chippers who want to chat about chips and whatever!!. IRC can seem a little over whelming at first, but trust me its pretty easy.

There is a few ways to access the chat room. I will break them down best I can. If you have any questions, post them here and I will try my best to help

ONE WAY TO ACCESS IRC #CHIPPER-CHAT

1. Use the link below to take you to a website called mibbit.com Mibbit is a IRC web chat client.

2. After you click the link it will bring you to a log in page. In the middle of the page there is a drop down menu. From the drop down menu, slide all the way down to the R's and select Rizon [webirc]

3. Below that, in the Nick: box, enter your Name or alias.

4. Next, in the Channel: box, enter this #chipper-chat

5. That's it!!! Pretty easy to do. I have a "bot" and a operator in the room. They are there to make sure the room is always open and accessible.

THE WAY I USE THE CHAT ROOM

I use a program called mIRC. It software used for accessing IRC chat rooms.

It is easy to use once you get the hang of it.

1. Visit the link below

2. Download and install mIRC

3. Once installed, open the software and click on the word TOOLS at the top in the menu bar. From the drop down choose options.

4. From the mIRC options pop-up window. on the left choose "servers" below the connect option.

5. On the Right, click the "add" button, the Add Server window will pop up.

6. In the Description box, type chipper-chat. in the IRC Server box, type irc.rizon.net. When finished, click add.

7. Then Click Connect to Server Button. Once the server connects, in the text window at the bottom of the window, type

/join #chipper-chat

BOOM there you are!! I know that is a lot and probably confusing. The first method of joining the chat room seems to work well.
