I'm sure that you will have a great adventure! When you get to the Downtown area, stop in at the Gambler's General Store (GGS) and/or Spinetti's, just behind GGS, on Main Street (just a few block down from the Plaza, heading towards the Strip) and checkout their offerings of chip holders. These are frameable, panels that can hold chips behind glass without the use of glue! They look great on any "mancave" wall!

Spinneti's also has a good selection of old chips cause your walk about just won't take you past the Landmark, the Dunes, the Sands, the Stardust and many other, long gone Strip and Downtown casinos.
