You buy two of every chip. Make a duplicate collection. Then when it's divorce time and they want half your chips, hand them their binder. Problem solved.

I once sold off my bubble gum machine collection. A guy came and bought a few. He was replacing all the ones his wife got. He never got them out of the house. He told me she always hated his collection, but told the judge how much she loved them.
