I thought the letters were PCH. However, I can now see the possibility of PFCC. The chip is a Burt chip. Pine Forest CC was built in 1945, so the timing is right.

However, I'll have to do a bit more reseach to make an attibution. Interesting that I only have the two chips, both with a 25. One with a dollar sign, one without. One set must have been used when the police were around.
