Visited my foot doctor during the week to learn that I had a mild athlete's foot infection between two toes. Didn't concern me too much thinking that it's nothing that soap and water couldn't fix -- along with the sample (2g) Naftifine Hydrochloride 1% cream he gave me (...and along with a script for 1-oz of the same topical). The first words out of Walgreens mouth was "Insurance doesn't cover this and it costs $380 an ounce." One ounce of this stuff would last me about five days as often as I shower/swim each day; and I'm told to use it for 30-days...????
Needless to say I canned that script in less than 3-seconds...
There's a simiar over-the-counter topical; "Terbinafine" Hydrochloride 1% with all the other inactive ingredients (spelling doesn't bother me ) for 8-bucks an ounce... Man!!! Athlete's Foot....???
