Been a tough couple of weeks here in Nevada. Was driving back from vacation (in the desert!) when my daughter called in tears and needed to be picked up from her work right next to the IHOP shooting spree. She was driving my jeep to work that morning when the water pump shaft broke and sent the fan through the radiator. Lucky she was smart enough to save the engine by immediately parking the rig and getting a ride to work. That happened at 8:30am while the shooting started at 8:58am. Without my jeep breaking down she could have been driving into the parking lot right next to that jacka$$!

Then ironically I was putting the jeep back together yesterday, when I recieved the message about the air race crash. If this photo is an accurate depiction of the problem, Mr. Leeward had his hands full and may have avoided a more serious casualty accident.

While thinking about all the innocent victims of these tragedies, it might be a good time to hug your spouse, children, parents or anyone you are with.... Doug
