Done that re-booting thing already Phyllis, several times. Evidently, when I send an email message, it's going out to the intended recipient, but there is no record of it in the sent email file, and a copy stays in the outgoing file and I receive an error notice. So there may be six emails that I have already sent that are still sitting in the outgoing file ... and each time I send a new email, all six messages are re-sent again and I get more error messages.
So what I have to do for now, is to send the email, delete the message remaining in the outgoing file and ignore the error message. The downside is that I have no record of the email sent in the sent file to refer to for future reference.
