Although the hurricane had little direct effect on our house (2 bent sunflowers, one medium sized branch, one small tree in the very back of the lot), we had no power for a day and still have no telephone, cable television or internet service at home (I'm posting from work, which is quite close by, but has all of the amenities). I have seen some notable damage in our area and one area was badly flooded initially, although it looks pretty good in that area now.

I hope everyone came out of it as well as we have. Hopefully, we will have internet access again soon.
