I apologize to all who have sent e mails during the day, but I took an immediate cash offer here in Mexico city for my chip collection and coin collection as a single lot. Desperate times call for desperate measures and I couldn't afford to wait until tomorrow or until PayPal deposits arrived and I could cash them.

I am going to reevaluate whether it is feasible to stay here in Mexico and I am going to take a couple of months to decide.

I have to start from zero and while my chip collection was OK, my coin collection took me thirty years to build up and I know I won't be able to replace some of those pieces.

On another note, I now know that chips and coins are only worth what people will pay for them and the guide books are only that - a guide.

Hopefully, I will be back in action sometime next year.
