Today's Calendar Entry of the Day! is by Jaime Alcala!
If you are interested in reserving a date in the 2012 issue of the Calendar and/or purchasing a 2012 Calendar, please be sure to read the following re-print from a recent post by Membership Officer, Steve Bedo, detailing the 2012 Calendar Project and how you can participate:
2012 Casino Collectibles Calendar
It's been quite some time since I lasted posted about the 2012 Casino Collectibles Calendar, so I just wanted to remind all of those that are interested in either buying a calendar (or two) or a date (or two) on the calendar or both -- time is starting to run out.
If you've reserved a date, we'd like for you to pay for it soon ($10 per date) as well as any calendars that you'd like to buy ($18 each, includes shipping). You can pay via PayPal on-line through the 's account Sales@ccgtcc.com or by sending payment (payable to the ) to me. Some have asked to purchase more than one date -- our current "policy" is one date per membership number. So if it's just you, it’s just one date right now...if it's you & your Associate Member, that's two dates. If you're interested in buying more than one date, what we will do is put you on a "Wait List". If the additional date(s) you want are not taken, we'll let you know & you can purchase those as well.
Those who purchased dates for the previous year's calendar, have first priority in reserving their date for THIS year's calendar. It's a way to say "Thank You" to everyone that supported this project last year, making it a very successful fund-raiser for the and an excellent way to colorfully share your hobby (or obsession ) with those around you. But that time is quickly running out & we will be releasing those reserved yet unpaid dates at the end of August. If you're interested in seeing if a particular date is available or if you are interested in buying a calendar, please contact me at Membership@CCGTCC.com .
And for those of you that have reserved a date in this year's calendar, I'd like to get your chip scan (300 DPI minimum, please) as soon as possible as well. The calendar goes to print in early October & mailed out to those who bought a calendar in mid-November.
Want to be involved?? Send a scan...or even send me some ideas on what you might like to see on the top part of a month or two. This calendar project is a success, mostly because of the hard work on the part of Todd Barrett & Neal Silverman -- but there were a lot of members that also participated & contributed scans of postcards, chips, strikes, etc...that were a part of this effort.
Thanks again for ALL of your support for this project.
