late because if someone wanted combined shipping that they should have asked before bidding.
Maybe he was misteken when he said that, maybe he just lied.
However no matter what he said, the fact remains is that the question of combined shipping was never even asked until both lots were purchased.
The seller is under no obligation to give a discount on shipping fees that are clearly stated in the auction.
Zeb placed a bid on 2 items that included a given price for shipping.
The seller mailed his items
Zeb received the items
To me it shouldnt matter if the guy spent $40 on overnight postage or .85 cents and mailed them in a plain envelope. If they arrived without damage to the seller, he completed his ebay obligation and should not be given a negetive feedback.
Is he an ethical guy? Thats another story altogether. But did he do anything against ebay rules? Absolutely not.
Moral of the story. Placing a bid on Ebay is a binding contract. Make sure you know what your bidding on and what the costs are BEFORE you bid.
Just my opinion.
