Not only is there no consistency but at some post offices they have automated machines and they charge different rates and appear to have different rules. One way to solve the problem is to make a copy of the page from their website and show it to the clerk. Then again I have had the clerk tell me he didn't care what that paper said he was going to charge me whatever he wanted. Your government at work.
