The USPS seems to have different prices regarding shipping bubble mailers, depending on who you ask and which way the wind is blowing.

Archie posted that it costs $1.71 to ship the smallest bubble envelope.

I have recently shipped dozens at the "FLAT RATE" of 88 cents each for less than 1 ounce.
$1.08 for 1-2 ounces, $1.28 for 2-3 ounces. $1.48 for 3-4 ounces, etc.

I haven't had a single one returned for additional postage.

So what is the actual rate?
